What is HRPeak Online Role Play?
Role Play is applied to observe how you will react to an event that you are likely to encounter in business life. You are expected to read the scenario, play the role assigned to you, and give a speech by addressing your interlocutor specified within the scope of this role.
What are the HRPeak Online Role Play Stages?
Test Recording
The test recording screen, which you will be directed to after clicking the “Start Assessment” button, will allow you to test both your camera and your voice. You have unlimited test recording right. After making sure that everything is working correctly, you can click the “Start Role Play” button to read the scenario and start preparing for your role.
Make sure that your camera is working!
You must allow camera access to your browser and your camera must be active during the preparation time.
Preparation Stage
You will have about 30 minutes of preparation time to read the scenario and plan your speech. You can follow the time from the counter at the top right of the screen. When the counter is zeroized, you will be automatically directed to the recording screen to perform what is expected of you. If you do not want to use the entire time given to you, you can continue with the recording screen by clicking the “Start Recording” button.
While you are preparing for your role by reading the scenario, your camera will randomly take an average of 10-15 photos and share them with your assessor.
Recording Stage
Video recording will begin as soon as you are directed to the screen. You can start to speech when you feel ready. You will only have one right to speak. If you want to start the speech again, you should not stop the recording. You can continue by pausing your speech or stating that you want to start over. When you click the “Stop Recording” button, you will be directed to a new screen, so you will not have the chance to restart the same recording.
Watch the recording time!
You have to plan your speech that will not exceed 15 minutes on average (It may differ depending on the role play exercise assigned to you.). In the recording screen, a counter will count down in seconds, when your time is up, the recording will stop and you will be automatically directed to the next screen. If you complete your speech before your time is up and want to continue with the exercise, you can click the “Stop and Upload Video” button.

It may take some time for your video to load to the system, please wait for the loading. Your speech will be processed in the system and you will be directed to the next stage.
Reaction Stage
When your loading is complete, the system can respond to you on behalf of your interlocutor through the scenario and expect a response from you. If the system responds to you, it means that a recording has started again when you are reading this response. After reading the answer, you will need to respond to it and complete your speech within the given time. Do not forget to wait for loading your speech to the system after your time is up or after clicking the “Stop and Upload Video” button.
After all these steps, you will have completed your Role Play exercise successfully.
